Limo Convoy 2008..
Last year's record-breaking limo convoy in Blackpool, turned out to be the largest limo event of 2007 and what an incredible evening it was. 124 limousines provided the most amazing spectacle for thousands of spectators lined along the famous Golden Mile.
Kevin Hinds of the Limo Convoy says: "Thanks to all who generously provided limousines and chauffeurs to make this event such a success. I hope that you will rejoin us for 2008"
"We hope that this year's event will be even better and have made some slight changes to assist with creating more media interest and generate more money for charity. This year's charity beneficiaries will be the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the Local Air Ambulance Services throughout the country"
The 2008 event will take place on Sunday th October 2008.
A whole day event is planned, with lots of concession stands, food, drinks, gifts (all proceeds to charity), events and entertainment including fire eaters, stilt walkers, DJ, live performers and celebrity appearances etc. The event will culminate in a record-breaking attempt at the longest limo convoy and we are hoping to smash last year's record of 124 limousines carrying around 1,000 passengers. The convoy will take place during the evening and will climax in a cavalcade of limousines travelling through Blackpool illuminations.
Vehicles will gather in Blackpool's massive South Car Park arena during the course of the day where they will be on display to the general public who will each pay £25 to charity for the opportunity to take part in this unique event. The limo convoy itself will commence in the evening.
If you are able to take part, please visit the convoy website at http://www.limoconvoy.com/ to register your participation. If you have clients/passengers who wish to travel with you, please advise passenger numbers and empty seat numbers so that we can raise the maximum possible amount for charity.
